Really like what I’m seeing from the SREF and HRRR, my place in SW Cumberland would be awfully close to the axis of heaviest snow accums on the backside of this storm. Sleet is starting to mix with the rain here
I'm not surprised, when it changed to sleet it happened quickly. I'd give FAY about 45 mins until pingers arrive.38F here in Raeford, all rain still atm.

Getting NAMMed in this part of the Triad. Keeps this up till 8 or 9 pm,theyll be looking at 5+ easy.
Yeah I pulled the trigger on it, even if I see as much or slightly less snow than Charlotte, the rates are likely going to be much higher when it snows down here. Also a chance I get underneath a death bandDid you end up going to Fayetteville area after all?
Still on the higher side of what I would’ve thought, though.Eh...I don't know about that. This first band has been nice, but the rates have backed off here coincident with lighter returns overhead. We'll be fortunate to top out in the 2-3" range (at least here in Kernersville).
