0.5" precip line shifting towards I85. Looking at the radar it seem that will be tough..IMO. Hopefully it's right.

I think we're going to be depended on the coastal low development. We want it to get going quicker and closer to the coast. You can see the orientation of the precip starts to become SW to NE and not west to east as it is now.

For central NC folks...it looks like heaviest precip sould be between 5pm and 11pm.

Been a mixed bag here for the last 45 minutes. Honestly about all I expect here

hrrr staying consistent with this, if you end up under that heavy band of precip you may get a very heavy burst of snow (that area I circled blue could be suprised)
In the foothills you can really see that subsidence in red

ALSO wrt that pocket of no precip shown on the HRRR that bird wiener keeps bringing up.. if u continue the HRRR run it fills in quite nicely shortly after ... this thing is looking like it’s ramping up fast
