Really hoping some of that precipitation in Tennessee can hold together down my way later tonight. Temperature here is dropping steadily and already down to 34. Maybe I can sneak in some flakes.
I'll keep you posted on what we see in Chattanooga as this next wave rolls in. Does look rather good on radar and the NWS recently put out a special weather statement for up to 1/2" here.

If radar is correct it's snowing at Caesars Head now.
Yep, too warm down here atm. WRCB radar has snow levels at around 1,750. Doesn't look like any of these showers are gonna be heavy enough to overcome that last 1,000'. Good luck higher up peeps and accu35, enjoy.
temps actually rose 2 degrees at the airport.. lol Can't win, well, sometimes we do (Feb 8th dreamin').

FFC had a low of 35 here for tonight. Right now it is 32.0 and still dropping. Looks like any returns on radar are still about 60-90 minutes from here. Holding out hope that I will see some flakes tonight!
I was wrong... Murphy NC looking to get a quick hit soon..

I think we are getting a little bit of a wedge building in here causing some colder temperatures. Most recording stations around Atlanta are in the low to mid 30s.

I slept through it happening but the evidence is still around that we had some fat flakes. Looked to be nice quarter sized and would've been cool to see fall.
I think I missed a few flakes this morning, band moved right over head, wife seen some FB post of neighbors said saw some snow. Well dang

Lasted maybe 10 minutes, just small flakes falling very slowly. 4th snow event we've had since 1/31

Mulch and wood surfaces white here, also can see it on some roofs in W-S as I came in to work at 7:45

Radar had a small band of 30-35 Dbz cross over your area around 2:30. Probably happened then.

Soco mountain just up rd from Maggie Valley. I would guess about 5-6 inches. This trip was my way of saying farewell to winter until December
leaving a winter wonderland makes me sad. But the sun is bright and melting it. It was a great Trip! Making memories with my little boys.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The pavement was fairly wet by the time I got up to get a biscuit. Something must have gone down but I was too tired to see.
