I am pretty sure I outdid Roxboro, which would be a first for my location(or at least since we moved to our house in 2020).
It would be interesting to see the guy from moyocks yard, a foot of snow with 0 shade on it at all! How does it hold up?
What a fail by Roxboro to not jackpot.
That little hole in Bahama is weird tooWhat a fail by Roxboro to not jackpot.![]()
Glad to see the 3.3 really close to MBY. Makes me think my 3.5” wasn’t bonkers, if maybe a couple tenths high.
Down around my area, you had to measure right when the snow was starting to lighten up after it was heavy, because it was melting already at that point immediately, difference between a few minutes after a burst of snow and 20 minutes after the snow burst was huge in this setup for measuring. Feb sun was lethal
CLT Metro Salisbury Golden Glove Winner....Always. Man I miss it over there lol They win in multiple setups somehow too
I'm pretty fortunate living just north of Rolesville (almost on the Wake/Franklin line). We almost always get a bonus .5" to 1" over most of the rest of the county and are usually 1-2F cooler. Of course, it's no Roxboro.CLT Metro Salisbury Golden Glove Winner....Always. Man I miss it over there lol They win in multiple setups somehow too

Thanks! I used to do the whole social media thing but after having kids (including one who is special needs and requires a lot of time and attention) I just don't have the time or energy for it anymore. Fortunately we've got a lot of sharp meteorological minds in our neck of the woods, including Allan Huffman!Hey Man I just want to share with you as someone who lives in Youngsville I love your content and post I follow a lot of people on twitter do you have a twitter I can follow? We’re about eleven miles north of campus and I almost always have half an inch to an inch more. So glad we got into our house for multiple reasons.
Mr sun is a good a guy!
We’re just on the wrong end of the sloshing bathtub.Glad this north trend only happens when it’s pure rain and not when there’s the coldest pattern in years

50 here as well, I would love to have seen a photo of the Moyock backyard yesterday and today !Massive snow melt underway with full sun and temps nearing 50 rip
There will be some dirty piles soon though
I went to visit my mom today down in the Benson area of Johnston County and the staying power of sleet in the shade was on full display. This was taken about 3:00 pm today.I drove to the Triad and back this afternoon and really noticed the leftover snow picked up on once you got east of Hillsborough. Very little snow west of there, even in the shade. Of course, there isn’t much snow left in Chapel Hill, either, but the consistently shaded spots are still fairly white.
