Looks like the eps is colder compared to the gefs now. I think just dont believe any model unless inside 7 days. I feel that the models and ensembles should be colder if the mjo stays on track through the 8-2 phases, but i guess they haven't caught it yet.

Anyone else get Disney plus? I did the espn+ and Hulu bundle. All three fairly cheap. Will cancel if they try to go over $15.

Pretty substantial bust on rain here yesterday. Way dryer than forecast. Wind was still mid to upper 30s at times so that part of the forecast verified.
I hate rain during the hunting season so it was a welcomed bust this time.

I would much rather waste Feb than Dec. Dec is my favorite month to see snow since its Christmas time. By Feb im sick of the cold and ready for spring !

I mean the difference between avg snow in Dec and Feb isnt that great. Maybe 1/2" difference ?
Probably because when it does snow in March its usually a big one. But those are few and far between.

Is this for KATL or the downtown? I also think this was prior to 2017 because from what I can tell Dec 9 2017 would be on there unless its KATL.

Honestly who cares about KATL ? They are not a good representation of most of metro Atlanta. 6 out of the top 20 in March and none in December ? I think we all know in any given year you have a better chance of seeing flakes flying in December than March.

No..... March has the monthly record in a lot of NC only because of Mar 1960. However Jan and Feb average almost twice the amount of snow that Mar does in most places.

Dec 97, Dec 00, Dec 10, Dec 17 are the Dec snows i can think of. Im sure there have been more im forgetting. For March i remember March 93, March 09, March 10.

For RDU the climo window for snow is almost always January and February. Most Decembers it does not snow at all. The same is true for March most of the time, though token flakes in March aren't uncommon.
For RDU specifically, there was not a single snowfall event of more than 2" before Christmas from the 1990s to 2017. The Deep South has generally been luckier in early December it seems, aside from last year. Most of our best snows have occurred between January 15 and February 15.

The indictment on Quinn just gets worse and worse tbh. Falcons stop using his dumb soft zone and like magic, are playing to their talent level which is much better than what things were looking like initially.
Wouldn't be surprised if he's kept now and the Falcons might legit end at 8-8 or something. If he's kept, he better not change a thing next year.
FWIW: I still think Cam Newton is done, so Carolina is just probably in massive trouble at the QB spot. It's not as bad as...what this is, but he just hasn't looked threatening to me in even other games (because the Falcons have kinda owned the Panthers) for a while. Maybe it's injury and taking the whole season will help him recover and show what he was in the past, but he's a mobile QB that's been beaten up in his years playing football. Kinda think he's done.
