I believe October 2013 started out this similar. I guess we need to check winters 54-55 as well.

Something I wonder is how many low-high records have been broken in recent times too? They seem to not get much attention. Snow records are just hard to break because you can't really top a superstorm without another superstorm. If it's for a season, then holding a pattern for long is really hard unless you get the perfect setup.

January/ February of 14, had a few good snows for Carolinas
 
Maybe just maybe the heat will give the Braves the advantage today. St Louis just doesnt get this hot ? Or does it ???
