MJO is just one of many things that will provide a clue or clues ... best thing to do is watch and independently blend model trends, and also pay real close attention to what the winds are doing over a couple weeks period and you'll have a great eye on things ...I don’t remember seeing 2 years so similar like last year and this year. It’s like groundhogs day. MJO going tell us everything in a few weeks.

I went to weather school on the back page of the Jax newspaper, watching George Winterling on local news Channel 4, and based on what I could read and absorb after real life school ... so I profess to know nothing ... except ... models are just models; there are things that link if you look long enough; weather is not a predictable commodity; weather is fun; and weather thoughts are truly fun sharing here as opposed to ... well, I'll not name that other place ...That’s too fancy, remember I went to Georgia.

Backloaded! Feb is gonna rock!
If pipes aren't bursting in January, I'm throwing my crystal ball and Magic 8 Ball away ...A month from now if we've punted the 1st half of January still relying on a fantasy pattern change I'm throwing in the towel. February has been about as much of a disappointment as December lately.
Shouldn't be that badIf it takes until February to get a winter storm we might have murders on here.
