Yep Brad P loves to point that out. Even the years with only a trace. Imagine the meltdown once the GSP, CLT, RDU corridor completely whiffs one year. Only a matter of time!

These cataclysmic ice storms thankfully keep disappearing from the GFS. Honestly can’t figure out:
A) why the dumb GFS would even spit out such incoherent solutions?
B)why people actually get excited about 2 inches of life annihilating ice?

The GFS is a embarrassment and we should boycott it in reality, but you know JB will post it, you know BAMwx will salivate over its cold bias, why is it even a model, why is it our weather model, of all places why is it ours

i can remember as a kid sitting in my mom’s red explorer in the Sports Club parking lot watching it pour flooding rain outside with the car thermometer reading “32”..that’s the memory I always go back to when I hear mentions of “cold rain”
I can't keep all these winter storms straight. Historic SE snowstorm, overraining, maybe light sleet or glazing, big weather next week, weatherbugs, bleaklies, etc.
Someone save us! Are they on the wxwatch model? Does Cohen have any thoughts on how the moonosphere will affect things?

As y'all know, people will hype when they can. Gefs isnt good anymore. Not sure what's happened to it. Eps will always be the way to go regardless. I would like to see a locked in -ao or nao, but its tough to achieve that without a true SSW.

GEFS mean was actually pretty stable and nearly right on for my area within 72 hours on this one. Showed signs at 120 hours.

Maybe I shouldn't have pulled the trigger on saying severe weather, but still, even though I pass on the major ice, that's SOOOO funny that it flipped that quickly.
Need that lobe rolling through the NE to dig in and slow down. Still bigly potential with this one. I don’t hate it

I don't believe Miller Bs are the best for most in the Deep south. We need bowling balls or GOM big dogs.
We do live in the southeast.

I'll take whatever falls, approaching 2 years since I saw snow that wasn't a random few flakes mixed with sleet or a stray flurry. Starting to get desperate
