Well, my eyes must be lying because the radar is showing snow flurries and well its snowing outside. Nothing reported on the major forecasts for snow today. I'm impressed it remembered how to snow here. LOL

Same here, saw some nice brief flakes
It's been spitting very light flurries on and off here since late yesterday evening. Tiny flakes but they have a really nice structure to them when zoomed in.

Yall should check out this Ventusky app. Free download. I put in the model , advance overlay. Really cool, zoom out,in as close, far away as you want. Satelite, radar, forcast all ops, cams. Lightening fast.
Man, Beech Mountain is a whiteout this morning. I thought I saw Krampus jumping from building to building.

Doesn't really count as an accumulation but we do have "drifts" in the corner of the windshield of around 1/2", but given the overall size of the windshield it only maths out to an average depth of 0.01". Snow is snow I guess, call it a win, lol.

General 8” of wind blown snow over the region this morning. Roads are treacherous with temperatures in the low single digits
managed to find some flakes not too far from home, right up against the NC line. pretty good northwest flow spillover event
Until now, I never knew there was a Lake Lanier in SC in addition to the well-known one in GA!
A solid freeze is still expected in my area tonight, possibly threatening the daily record low just 3 days after a day with both a daily record high and record high min! If this were to occur, I’d have to try to find if this has ever happened on any days.

Seems the nuclear station at Hope Creek lost commercial power. No other major issues reported so that's good.

Only 40 outside with full sun at 1pm, looking for low 20s tom am; maybe could pull off an upper teens with low winds? Enjoying these last couple of cold days for my area!
