We officially did it. February wound up -3.1F giving us a our first wall to wall BN meteorological winter in many years. Got tired of looking back it's been so long. Our local streak of BN months actually goes back to August 2025.

Probably one of the torchiest sequences I’ve seen in a long time modeled for the time of the year. CAE for example. I mean this is legit pool worthy Heat, and a stretch that resembles late May/early June. Gonna be a rapid leaf out and bass/bluegill spawn in smaller ponds by the end of this warm up

in the same way that long range deterministics love to throw out crazy low temperatures in january like -8 in raleigh after a snow (they never verify), the reverse is true for high temps once daylight savings comes around
