Pattern December, Make analogs relevant again

Flooding threat starts tuesday for AL TN GA as a front stalls out over the area. We could all get some beneficial rainfall but have to deal with a flood threat as well.

Near 1060 high W Can. H5 MUCH more favorable for cold to drive into SE further in this run. Much much colder and maybe even colder than 6Z!
Make anallogs great again Larry!

I'm beginning to wonder if the models are going completely nuts trying to process this huge negative EPO and don't know what to do with the cold. Also, if we could see a 1060 mb high that could be what is affecting the output as well.

At 156, cold further south, snow further south!

flood event to a winter storm here after Christmas

then with temperatures in the teens would probably be ice flows leading into New Years Eve

At least this run is active lmao

Probably feet of snow north of here lmao

The numbers being spat out might be too high, but all of the models are clearly pointing to an unusually strong high pressure system building in the north central plains sometime around or just after Christmas. Imagine if we can get a supressed low to spin up and move eastward in tandem with the strong high. It's hard for me to see a Lakers cutter pushing itself northward with those strong high pressure isobars to the north. I'd imagine it would be more supressed. If we can get a low to move along with the high, I can see a big storm for someone in the South around New Years.
