Anybody cancelling this storm based off one run of the GFS has evidently not followed weather this winter.

I am not taking the GFS as gospel, and you should tell by me saying "lmao".
Yep, this is 5 days out, right when models start losing storms, only to bring them back 2 days later!

I can't remember, but didn't the CMC do well with the last ice storm? I feel like it did.

Oof. And while this might be off, this model does better than the GFS with CAD.

Does very well with CAD and surface temps in a CAD! Did well on last storm

I'm willing to bet money that the OP GFS is going to be an outlier and the ensembles will have a different solution.

For now, I'm going with the CMC and last night's Euro unless the Euro shows what the CMC does. It seems like a CAD event is possible and the GFS can't even keep a consistent run with it's data sets.
162 GFS still dry! Ughh
Big one coming for the 1-3rd! This is gonna be a big dog run for that storm, imo
