.KEY MESSAGES...
Updated at 651 AM EST Thu Dec 26 2024

- Cool temps north GA through Friday due to cold-air damming
event persisting into Saturday.

- Scattered showers expected Friday NW spreading east and
increasing in coverage and intensity Saturday and Sunday.

- Heavy rain and strong or even some severe storms possible on
Sunday with up to 3 inches of rain possible.

- Temperatures will be much above normal through the weekend and
into early next week, with colder temperatures returning by
mid-week.

We only managed 47 today. Was cold with a stiff breeze all day, sun made an appearance about 30% of the day. Gonna struggle to get above 40 tommorow if the rain gets in here quick enough.
You ever get the chance go play Tot Hill Golf Course. I only snapped a few on front 9. Big rolling hills, super challenging and stunning beauty. West of Asheboro, Uwharrie Mtns.

Still watching this about weekly or so. I am still amazed at how little snow there has been nationwide. Currently only half of Montana has any snow with much of that being minimal. Most of the upper MW and NE has only a couple inches and nothing for the plains. Only a couple inches for NV and UT. South of I-80 forget about it. There's actually been some cold this month but no snow anywhere.

Yeah Kansas hasn't even had a real storm yet and they had 2-3 feet of snow last year while we barely managed an inch... It's really fallen apart from what a stretch in November looked like. I really thought it would be more widespread this month for sure. I dunno I just shake my head at this point

Been meaning to get out here. Never played a Strantz design. Tobacco Road has become the famous one in NC but personally I like the pics from Tot Hill a little more. Strantz designed Royal New Kent just down the road from me in Richmond, where I think I'm going to try to play New Year's Day while walking off libations from the night before.

Tot has always the harder of the 2 for me. TR is scorable if you block out the noise but when you have 2nd shots like this it's hard to do20241125_150520.jpg

Like 5 miles south. I wouldn't be surprised if this system today tried to form a storm or 2 but this run seems to be a little aggressive.

As I say this the 12z doubles down
Holy crap yes it did. Interesting
