0z GFS is wetter than 18z GFS. Other than that, no significant changes (yet)

What low are we following? Mexico or CO?
CMC has trended to the 12z and the 18z GFS.

Much faster this time.
Decent cad in place and Precip breaking out over western Carolina and inland to Raleigh at 159hr. Going to be a decent run but would be massive if it was a tad cooler

Hour 156 gfs.. congrats Missouri on your heavy snow.

A northern stream wave that was previously over southern Canada on earlier runs dives into the north-central Rockies instead on this GFS run. The GFS however was faster with the southern stream wave this run, the reason it tried to cut this low into the TN Valley is different from earlier runs
Well it's certainly moving a lot faster on the GFS, SLP on 18z was in S/Central TX at 6z Sat, on the 00z run it's on the LA/MS border.
Yea. Hr156 snow for western North Carolina.
