My friend in Stone Mountain is reporting light snow
I'm with you and hope we get something.....I am in McdonoughI've lucked out and it's 32 before the show. If I luck out further, I could catch the train that goes all the way back to Tuscaloosa. Bad luck could get me a virga train, lol. Such is the deep south.
Where at?Light sleet/flurries just started here. Surprising since I'm on the leading edge of returns and only now had any at all.
I'm near comer ene of athens.Where at?
Its light but Based on How long it took for areas west of me, its definitely unexpected. Hopefully a good sign for the Upstate. Oddly temp is now UP to 34.3 ..got as low as 31.3 before the clouds rolled in.
I'll take all your excess ip! Still nothing going on here. There has to be a sneaky warm front along the I-20 corridor east of Atlanta which is driving the enhanced forcing/vertical motion. It also seems to be getting into the boundary layer which is what changed me to mostly sleet.
I'm back to very light flurries and stuck at 35 degrees lol. So I expect you to go back too. There has to be a sneaky warm front along the I-20 corridor east of Atlanta which is driving the enhanced forcing/vertical motion. IDK… looking at OBS around CLT metro… surface dewpoints are rising. Basically between 15-19 across the area compared to around 9-12 early in the evening. I’ve definitely seen much dryer get overtaken with weak systems.Got a sick feeling I am going to get blanked again, this dry air is fierce

I'm holding out hope for a burst of some moderate snow from those returns building to our wsw to bring these temps down.
Yep my temp is 30.2/16.3 rn, i feel like once we start getting returns actually over CLT we will wetbulb quickIDK… looking at OBS around CLT metro… surface dewpoints are rising. Never saw a flake in Gadsden…maybe the top of the mountain saw something
Roads are awful here in and around Huntsville. Heads up to Georgia on this surprise
Looking better. Hopefully starting to fill in a bit.
I am just surprised that something that barely shows on tilt 1 is producing given the dry airLooking better. Hopefully starting to fill in a bit.
Well now I gotta start looking! AwesomeSome flakes finally - very light snow falling
Yeah I know what you mean. It's the tiniest intermittent little flakes you ever seen under my bright led street light.I am just surprised that something that barely shows on tilt 1 is producing given the dry air
