Problem with the clipper is that it’s mid/upper level generated precip and our lower level dew points are insanely low. Just almost no chance it’ll have enough juice to saturate the column down to the surface. Mountains could do ok though since they’ll be above a big portion of the dry layer.
NAM going for a snow squall! Now that’s something I can get behind! Again I believe models will come around to showing more coverage as the clipper gets closer. I think we have a legit chance at at least seeing flakes fly here!
