Atl radar shows returns about a thousand feet off the ground.
Looking like virga setting up over NC.
FFC radar showing some nice 20mdBZ returns between Atlanta and Athens. About to come right overhead here. Now, let's see if we can saturate the column at least enough for what's still left to come through later.

As much as I want snow, I am going to bed!
No real returns here but it’s still snowing. Got a coating on everything now.
A bit of a coating but local traffic is really a mess because nothing melted. Its quiet in the woods all but the sound of the koi pond running under the ice.

Had some good returns overhead; but it's not getting to the ground.
I had maybe a few stray flakes getting through but nothing to speak of...
