Who’s said it was looking bad for AL… snow report near Huntsville 
Interesting and fun to watch system it keeps humming along and not drying out. Even seeing bands popping up in East AL now. Now alot is not reaching ground but the more moisture returns the more help to eventually saturate enough to perhaps start falling in areas across MS/AL/GA

Tishomingo County, MS Sherriff dept reporting some slick roads. Still don’t see anything here.

Went out and measured 1.25 inches of new snow. Can’t beat Christmas week snow, especially when it’s been on the ground since last Thursday night. current temp is 31.6 degrees. Might finally get a tad above freezing for the first time since 7:30pm last Thursday night.

43 degrees here ?. Warmer than forecasted. Might end up being too warm for snow at this rate.

Torching down here (relatively) …gonna likely break 40 when I wasn’t forecast to get to 37.

Why is the modeling doing such a poor job of initiating correctly this morning? The precip is much more widespread based on surface obs than what is being depicted at initialization…you got to think that it would throw the whole run off?

Was just through this band on my way to Tennessee and nothing fell so it is in fact dry.

Oh good. Torching temps as a little bit of hope and moisture moves in. ? Same ole story. Let’s see what happens.
