I could definitely see a heavy but thin band of snow breakout past the mountains. One of those “if it lasted for 3 hours, I would’ve had 4 inches” type of bands. You get to enjoy it for 30 minutes to an hour and get a dusting to an inch and some what could’ve been lol

32 hopefully evaporation will knock it back down how long did it take to get flakes once radar returns over u?

NWS is now showing scattered flurries in my area for tonight. Will be at work and would call it a win just to see some flakes falling!
NWS is broad brushing this thing because they have no idea where/if/when this thing will set up east of the apps. Very tricky forecast but could be fun because ground temps/conditions are ideal for everyone.
Favoring south of 85

I am renting just south of 85 and our new property is even more south. It was the only reservation I had. I literally had to stop and think if I wanted to buy it just because of that. Bahahahah. My husband was like wutttt. Don't be silly. Bahahahah. He has no idea how serious I was....

Clipper hitting the wrong time for AL. Sun is out, temps rising to the upper 30’s, dry air…..hhhhhhh, think I’ll go enjoy the woods!

seems it would setup just east of the Queen City proper, should be a large shadow east of the mtns
That stuff in eastern TN is already getting close to the radar at tilt one
Trust me I understand exactly what you speak of. 85 in the Charlotte area seems to be the rain/snow line for winter. Lived in Mooresville which is very very comfortably in the snow.... now I'm in Concord and it's so PAINFUL to follow winter stormsI am renting just south of 85 and our new property is even more south.
