That nice wrap around could been a nice bit for central and north Alabama also.
Too bad its the crappy and unreliable GFS ! Now lets see what the Euro says.

That second lp is way too amped for me personally back to rain but western half of NC is absolutely crushed.... would be December record setter if verified

UK looks south of its 12z run, looks solid. Need better maps to be sure though.

Looks like Sunday evening sees wrap around snow as far south as the Jackson, MS area. And I've got family that lives up there too. Hmmm... I'll definitely keep an eye on this possibility for future model runs to see if this verifies.
