Wintry Dec 8-10th Winter Storm

Some of north Alabama and parts of Tennessee and Georgia may get a surprise tomorrow night. I feel like the models keep slowly beefing up the ULL and moisture each run. Euro hinted at it last night, and the GFS, icon, and nam are all on board too. I’m hoping it’ll trend up a little more over the next couple runs. Has a solid 1-2 in parts of North Alabama. RGEM appeared to be on board as well. Those upper level lows are sneaky.
 
Alot of freezing rain here at kannapolis nc, approaching 0.3 of ice and 30 degrees
 
The transition line struggling against the wedge, still ripping here.... got to be close to 7 now. Wow!

I wouldent be surprised if the upper level low produced 2 inches in a spot, getting beefed up much more on models and we know there surprises

Alot of freezing rain here, just measured and getting close to 0.45, rates are not crazy nomore either which is aiding ice accretion, I could feel the pressure the trees are going thru lol
