Wintry Dec 8-10th Winter Storm

OMG AT THE WIND GUST I JUST HAD!! Have no idea what it was but it was bad!! Im amazed at this!
 
I can confirm these are some of the heaviest snow rates I've seen since the ULL back in feb 2014, also some sleet mixing in

Glad you're in it man! Just started with really fine flakes in Wake. Wind is whipping like crazy all of the sudden and my temp has dropped 2 degrees down to 35. Pretty strong band approaching from the southwest so interested to see what happens in the next thirty minutes or so.
 
Heavy sleet with light snow mixed in just started here on the Johnston/Wake line about 5 minutes ago.
 
Pouring snow, solidly in the half mile moderate type, some dime size, 3” on the deck and headed for good nights rest. Busy day tomorrow.
 
39 here in chapel hill first flakes ar flying. Hopefully we get that red band from the south to drop some good rates.
 
This is rate driven, when I get into breaks, it turns into sleet but when it picks back up, snow starts ripping
