Holy hrrr. 0z run keeps Rdu frozen the whole time

Yeah exactly. We start mixing on that run for sure but we never flip to plain rain which I think is a win. Verbatim it dropped 9” of snow before mixing

What a win that would be!!! I'm in Chatham so maybe I can eek out 10 here. LOL.

Snow started here about 830, I ended up just NE of Blowing Rock on an eastern slope about 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Pkwy. We going a cabin with some green space for Jeb walls tomorrow. I really wish the SE would get a cut and dry snowstorm, wide transition zones suck.

Wetbulbing in full effect. No precip here yet. 41 degrees. Ideally I'd like surface temps just to my North to be a little colder, hate relying on WB to drop temps.

Meh might end up being reality. Can't ride a model that can swing in the last minutes. The HRRR is better to use at this point. The RGEM is not something you want to look at by the way. You might throw your computer out the window.
