Wintry Dec 8-10th Winter Storm

Mooresville is in way better position then clt, such a tight gradient where you could go from 1-8 inches of snow

The mping reports suggest frozen precip is a little ahead of schedule.

Here is the hrrr. Look how much more area is frozen.

Nam has much less area seeing frozen right now.

Hrrr much closer to reality.

From a meteorologist currently in Raleigh:

The hrrr certainly has everybodys attention but with strong winds aloft from the se, the nam or In between the both seem likely

I don't see anybody reporting from Forsyth Co, GA, which looks to be a possible demarcation zone between little to no zr and possibly a good bit. Here 5 miles NW of Cumming it's currently a rainy mess at 38.4. Winds gusting to near 20mph from the NE. Bring on the wedge!

Still thinking about 6 to 8 of snow here before the mix.

People living and dying with each model run are going to be dead a lot.
