The difference in the gfs and fv3 is huge

See why FV3 has shifted south. It's been somewhat consistent of keeping NS energy separate from southern low but it's holding the 50/50 longer. Still 96 hours out so this will change.

I know it’s the FV3 but not all of those heavy totals in Atlanta are due to Ice, there’s also a nice duration of snow due to the trailing energy as well.
