94% of people listed as dyeing from corono usa, had underlying conditions that contributed to death. CDC
USA is absolutely full to the brim with people who have underlying health conditions. So that stat really doesn't help us very much.94% of people listed as dyeing from corono usa, had underlying conditions that contributed to death. CDC
True but it shows the real number of deaths from Covid. I wonder if they count flu deaths the same.USA is absolutely full to the brim with people who have underlying health conditions. So that stat really doesn't help us very much.

That's a good question. Not sure. The way I think about it is that most reasons somebody dies are actually brought on by a set of contributing factors. Covid is a contributing factor. Were it not here, those people who had other factors would probably still be alive. And who knows how many people are walking around with just the right set of background factors where Covid would be the last straw.True but it shows the real number of deaths from Covid. I wonder if they count flu deaths the same.
I'm really sorry to hear this, Michael. Will be praying for your family through this difficult time.Well I am sad to say the business my wife and I started 32 years ago will close Oct 1st. We had small margins and having no revenue for 10 weeks plusthe large loan we now have to pay off is too much, we have lost 45,000 so far this year and our business is only back to 70% of pre Covid levels, just can't go on any more

Feels like Christmas with the NC governor easing restrictions today. But I will never forget me and my family will be voting him out of office.
Be more like other states that had less restrictions and less cases. Instead of killing businesses. So what exactly did you want him to do different during a pandemic?
Most of the states that had fewer restrictions ended up having to roll everything back because they got overrun. Cooper made the right call.Be more like other states that had less restrictions and less cases. Instead of killing businesses.
Phase 2.5 is ridiculous. I don’t recall that as one of the options.
Apparently I’m still positive for COVID despite being over 2 weeks past start of symptoms and not being sick in a long time. Doctor basically said ignore it , it’s as if you tested negative .
Guess what? I discovered someone in my circle who got COVID before me . 1 month ago my friend wasn’t feeling well and went to the doctor . He was told he had mono , but not covid .... turns out they made a mistake he was positive for covid . So one mistake from a doctor may have possibly given this thing to me and quite a few other people including my friends mom who is in the hospital still.

One of my foreman had it and the state health lady told him to not bother with a followup test. Once he served his two weeks she gave him a letter. She said he would show positive still but is good to go back to work. No one else has gotten it since.![]()
Your Coronavirus Test Is Positive. Maybe It Shouldn’t Be. (Published 2020)
The usual diagnostic tests may simply be too sensitive and too slow to contain the spread of the virus.www.nytimes.com
This probably explains why your doc said you are basically negative. Over-sensitivity of the basic test and viral load in the individual.
It could be like herpes, you never get rid of it and it flares up whenever your immune system is stressed. One of my foreman had it and the state health lady told him to not bother with a followup test. Could be. Just like Mono or Malaria too.It could be like herpes, you never get rid of it and it flares up whenever your immune system is stressed.
Beat the bug!So I have covid and ive beat the fever and otherwise mild symptoms all but the loss of smell, been four days now. How long did it take y’all if y’all have had it? Starting to get concerned

Ultimately, though, if she died it has to be a Covid death because she wouldn’t have died otherwise. My SIL has been living with sarcoidosis for as long as I've know her. It certainly puts her at a higher risk.
Now the argument that is being made is that if she gets covid and passes away it wouldn't/shouldn't be counted as a covid death because she had an underlying condition.
A condition that has never put her in danger of dying....so it becomes an issue of the chicken or the egg. Tough question and one that's being politicized at every turn.

It's really concerning the number of people posting that covid is a hoax because of that 6% stat. I'm so done with this ----. I want to go back to when I wasn't aware of how stupid some people are.Exactly which is why covid only being on 6% as the only cause of death is meaningless to me.
Yeah it may have killed someone with diabetes but unless diabetes was killing that person this week then it was the covid.

I don’t think anyone here has called it a hoax. It's really concerning the number of people posting that covid is a hoax because of that 6% stat. I'm so done with this poop. I want to go back to when I wasn't aware of how stupid some people are.
Not necessarily on here. But I've got some pretty stupid friends on facebook who have used this as proof that it's fake/harmlessI don’t think anyone here has called it a hoax.
I don't know why they "hope you don't know" the flu causes it also but I do know it's much less frequent than 35 percent of the time, like what's happening with covid-19. Unfortunately like most things about this virus, it's too soon to say anything for certain about it's long term effects, because nobody has had it long term yet.Acute myocarditis is a well-known complication of influenza infection. So it happens when you get the flu as well but they hope you don’t know this fact.
