I think there are positives. Overall there is some indication of some leveling off, at least.
New cases have flatlined or possibly even started to decrease depending on how hard you squint, and the positive case rate has declined over the last week or so. Will that last? We’ll see.
I wouldn’t say things are looking great, but things aren’t exponentially spiraling out of control, either. The hot spot states seem to show signs of leveling, so hopefully they will nose over soon. There will be many more dead to count on the way down, though...
I’m kind of an optimistic person by nature, though (which translates to weenieism in the winter).

There is anecdotal evidence that it has helped some cases. I had a friend who got very sick with Covid and was given it with zinc and z-pak. It didn't help him at all. It might help some but let real science determine that... not a bunch of "doctors" with questionable credentials who have agendas and are driven by political conspiracies
I found what the Doctor Summit video was flagged for this morning on Facebook. It was cited “Do not fall for this video because Hydroxychloroquine is not a CURE for Covid-19.”
The only grounds for that video being taken down was because the lady called it a “cure” and not a “treatment”.
Semantics.
This is not a good look for these social media platforms. People feel like they’re trying to censor the truth. Whether that’s true or not doesn’t really matter. The beast is awakened. People are talking which is what’s most important.

Whereas until yesterday I hadn’t known anyone with Covid, I have just learned about the death of the first cousin of someone who works for the family (she was only in her 40s to low 50s and didn’t have any major preexisting condition)(her bro and sis both have it, too) and a 97 yo aunt of my stepmom, who was found barely conscious with an O2 level of only 62% in her room (senior home). The family refuse to allow her on a ventilator due to her age. She’s somehow hanging on with room air based O2 back up to 92%. Both live (lived) in E GA. It is getting scarier.
I just gave myself a haircut for the 1st time in my life and it was the 1st one I’ve had in 5 months. This was much more than a little trim as I took off up to 3”. I was just winging it but I’ve actually had worse looking haircuts!

It’s not semantics. In medicine, treatment and cure are polar opposites. It has large implications to mix the two up, or spread false hope and a false narrative around HCQ. No doctor in their right mind would confuse the two, and to manufacture a video to do so can literally risk lives and cause another drug shortage and high demand for HCQ once again.
How about let the science speak for itself? I can tell you who that video won’t convince is the doctors who know HCQ is clinging on to it’s little benefit it has in improving outcomes. This is laughable and the entire US has a tin foil hat on it appears. The truth is scary, no one wants to believe what we’re seeing and they want a way out...I get it.
Put it this way,
What if a video went viral and the presidents son tweeted it? What if in said video there was a Medical Doctor saying Hydroxychloroquine cured cancer and that all the doctors of the world should listen. What if your mom or father had cancer? What if you immediately wanted to get them HCQ and thought their doctors were quacks because they weren’t being given the cure for cancer?
What if someone online said well, the doctor meant treatment but they said cure, it’s no big deal.
How would you feel?

Can it potentially be fair to say that the Lancet study (that was admittedly taken down) was so poorly done that it almost did look like an attempt at a hit piece politically (not that I love going there, and not that I'm going to put that hat on either, I'm going to lean toward HOPING that it was just a poorly written thing that no longer exists) but also say that HCQ/zinc is marginally helpful at most and call it a day instead of choosing to lean strongly to supporting what the president wants to support.
If they’re going to stop her at this point, they’re going to have to go at her numbers that she is claiming. If they can’t do that then they don’t have a leg to stand on..and so the plot thickens.

I think that a cure implies it WILL rid someone of whatever particular ailment they have, beyond a shadow of a doubt. A treatment can certainly help lessen the severity of an ailment, and even maybe make it go away for a time, but it's entirely possible that the ailment will return at some point in the future with a treatment. Just like how people receive treatment for cancer, and may go into remission for months or years or even decades, but the cancer may return at some point in time.
However I am not employed in the medical field, so just my personal understanding of it.

If this lady witnessed these Hydroxy/zinc drug cocktails being given to patients that eventually recovered and saw not one patient die no matter their preexisting conditions then nothing else about her matters.
Either she saw with her own eyes these things work or she didn’t. That’s the only thing up for debate.

Your first sentence is a good point. Why is nobody asking this or looking at any data associated with her claims. Instead, all we're hearing are stories about Satan or some nonsense.

Just because you "Have information that nobody wants you to share" doesn't mean that it's true. For all you know this could be a bunch of quacks pulling a publicity stunt for fame and money. If only extreme outlets pick up on it, then it's likely garbage or pseudoscience. Now on the actual comment about the survival rate you've been touting for so long, you can't say that on its own people will recover at that high of a rate naturally if you're saying Hydroxoaeiofheihfasfhs I don't even care how to spell it anymore is a miracle drug that'll cure everyone ill. Also this is backwards logic. If it was a miracle cure it's not produced by them, and docs would push it more across all hospitals if it was regarded as one. However since it failed across numerous studies as a widespread treatment it's only limited to certain people in certain circumstances. Just like cancer treatment, one size doesn't fit all.

Genuinely all I care to know is if they treated 350 people at her hospital and if they did I want to know if all survived and I want to hear testimonies of patients. She claimed patients in their 80’s and 90’s were treated. Not kids. Statistically someone should have died. That is unless hydroxy/zinc combo works. Either way, I want to know.

On the other hand, hospitalwise, what was the time span of these patients? 350 over weeks? Months? Days? Also, which hospitals are being compared? Is it a large one vs a large one? Is it a regional one vs a large one? I'd think if flow was slower yes it would have a higher survival rate.
