So something a lot of people don't know and what I just realized is that it takes a long time to develop a vaccine. I think the quickest one was about four years and that was for the mumps.

Not to mention from what I've heard, there has never been a vaccine developed for any type of coronavirus. So in my opinion, the hope for some COVID-19 vaccine to be developed in record time is extremely low. Which means that there will probably be no movie theaters, live sports, sitting down in restaurants and occasional full on shutdowns for the foreseeable future, unless something changes.
