I don’t understand what you’re saying. The news reports I have read specifically stated it as 4 trillion in liquidity for banks, 2 trillion for everything else. I suppose the money for banks may be intended to work its way into the market itself, but that’s the breakdown as advertised.

I haven't seen a $4T figure anywhere for bank liquidity - do you have a link?

4t in liquidity from the fed's for the banks allows them to provide lower interest loans, especially business loans, which in theory spurs more growth. It's not as simple as saying 4t bailout for the banks
Bingo. Banks have tight rules guidlines and insurance backing by fed to help business, like local pizza palor who had to shut down. Have to give him loan, low locked interest with cap , time to pay back. Like fha backed loans for mortgages is a good way to think of it.

from a purely clinical point of view ... loan presumes repayment ... it's the 2nd part of the equation which is of some concern ...

Confirmation in ... Office now fully functional via net and video in 3 locations ... time to get back to work ... and it isn't even Easter! Beat ya, Donald J!

India has 21 day lockdown for 1.3 billion folks.

The doc sounded like he was talking about weather models on that interview. They are tools. If he would have said pattern recognition, I would have sworn it was JB for a second.

Are the numbers in your state skewed more in the north verse south? Or are they population density driven like everywhere else? Curious as I know its warming up south Florida.

I am not in South FL; Gainesville is in mandatory lockdown; this little rural county has the highest per capita rate in the state; it is a fuggin' ghost town ...

Your county or Gainsville? Both are central Florida north, correct? So Miami,Keys arent the hot spots?

I was at this store about 10 days ago. It was nice knowing you guys. ?

What you need to know
  • Worldwide restrictions: Nearly a third of the world’s population, 2.5 billion people, are under coronavirus-related movement restrictions. (but not GA)
  • US sees deadliest day: At least 163 people died Tuesday, bringing the US death toll past 700, as the WHO warned the country could be the next epicenter of the virus.

Investigation underway but 6 hours to prepare for Hawaii and 9 hours for California. The way 2020 has went so far I would not being going to sleep until threat is for sure gone.

I went to weather.gov and see what you mean. Still showing tsunami watch for Hawaii.

But not on tsunami.gov? If we can get more info on weather.gov on a tsunami, then what's the point of a tsunami.gov site? lol
Dutch sense on youtube was a good watch think they banned him but his theory on earthquakes seem to work out. Basically was if you have a eq here it flows down the line like a wave in water and could give great chances where the next would be

Thought I would share what’s been said online. The US Airline industry is still flying. Today around 4:30pm I took a screenshot from my PC of all the planes in the air and the picture was astonishing (pictures below). Nearly 4000 planes were in the air with over 60,000 arrivals expected in the next 24 hours. If we will ever have a chance to stop this virus from spreading it’s going to be in the airline industry and other large gathering spots.F3A6B812-3F65-4241-965C-86C1C6F33FB6.jpeg

This year has been as to date just .... lost my dad, this virus all the earthquakes had to pets diagnose with cancer. The ppl seem to have lost their minds. It's almost like I just want t disconnect with all the news
Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine 2.5 years ago, and it still feels weird. I wish he was here, because he could be very calming in times of high anxiety.

Wilkes, at the risk of sounding like a back handed compliment....this is an interesting and insightful post.

Looks like tsunami watches no longer showing on weather.gov, so Hawaii in the clear. Maybe tsunami.gov was right first?? Beats me. I've never tracked a tsunami before.

The next few weeks are going to see some harsh realities.....225 deaths yesterday, that was double the day before...it could double every few days from here on out that will be almost 500-1000 a day by the weekend....going to be hard to claim this is over or that everything is ok when there are a thousand Americans dying every single day from this....hopefully that does not pan out that way, but sounds like hospitals all over the major metro areas in this nation are close to capacity already.

This is why rapid testing and lots of it would help. If we could quickly identify cases instead of it taking a week and let people know they have it and what to expect it would help.
