So, Here is the mean forecast error by day for all the AI models compared to the Euro(IFS). Lower number means they are more accurate....

That Chinese "FuXi" model is crushing all the others including the Euro... Unfortunately I don't think it's publicly available.

https://www.hko.gov.hk/en/Whats-New...orecast-Products-on-the-Earth-Weather-Webpage Looks like some products from it are available at the link in the article above. But it seems really limited and potentially only over China itself (though I’m on mobile for now)

My friend who works in Atlanta just got this from their company lmao. “Polar vortex” hype has started

“The Global Safety and Security GO Center has been made aware of severe weather with potential impact to your travel, home or office location. Freezing weather conditions are expected to hit the Eastern portion of the U.S., due to the presence of a polar vortex. Heavy snow is predicted for the Great Lakes area into the Appalachians, bringing cold winds. The National Weather Service has stated that dangerous wind chills are likely to cross many areas of the south-east. Areas such as New Jersey and Philadelphia are anticipated to experience initial effects of the polar vortex early next week, with the coldest days expected from January 7th through January 14th.“

No matter how much of a disaster this next storm ends up being down here, there’s no way it can top this.

There is a poster by the name of : johnsonbd

He hasn't posted since last year.

Does anyone know where he is?

I will never get snow if he doesnt post.

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE HE IS.
I always thought everyone needed the "DadOfJax" stamp of approval to get some snow.
