Aren't you the one that works for Duke?
I’m now in NE Chapel Hill, so I’m going to be even more screwed in these situations than I used to be versus you.

If it does not snow, I hope this happens. Not so bold prediction: this board will be angry/sad posting in about 10 days when the projected possible snow event turns into highs in the low 70s![]()
We are always looking beyond.Wasn't we really looking at the 7th Beyond for something to develop anyway? I didn't think we were ever looking at something before then
Things have actually been going pretty well, and everyone has been getting along.Love when my posts get taken out of context by the usual suspects.

Hey, at least we got em this year. Seems like it's been years since we've had fantasy storms to look at!The year of the 300 hour storm
Would’ve loved it for Jan 2000I couldn't imagine what these boards would have been like in the 90s and very early 00s
I would guess the level of complaining and crying would be similar to today at just about this time of 99Would’ve loved it for Jan 2000
I would give anything to have had this board back in Jan 2000 when we got the crusher. I wonder if we would have done better forecasting this than the NWS. The GSP office had to play catch up all day. Of course, I would not have found out for a few days how it went until my power came back.I couldn't imagine what these boards would have been like in the 90s and very early 00s
Earliest storm I can remember on the boards was January 2002 followed by December 2002 and then January 2003. I don’t know if he’s still around but ACweather called 1/23/03.I couldn't imagine what these boards would have been like in the 90s and very early 00s

Idk man I’m pretty salty about a few weeks agoJust a reminder for folks to even if we disagree time to time, not to hold grudges as it’s easy to do that. If we disagree we should just keep it at that and still interact nicely to each other. At the end of the day we all have 1 goal on here
Not all of us3 days a go we were worried about trough burying in the west…now the shxt too far east.

The board respects and appreciates your insights, though there will be some disagreement from time to time.
Instead of bickering in the main thread, can’t we all just agree that when it’s all said and done most likely nobody is getting any![]()
