Misc Cold Season Complaining

Looks like we will get a little bit of everything during the holiday season (minus snow probably).

Really cool right into Christmas then a nice warm up after that. Might be warm enough to hit the links ⛳️

Cold for Christmas is all I’m really hoping for, and it seems like things are looking solid for that.

Christmas has cooled about 10 degrees on the eps in the last 36 hours now the cold is starting to take down the 26th being warm

This is the exact same thing as every winter. Except this winter, we were fortunate enough to get a few cold shots in December and may finish the month below normaland have a cool Christmas, instead of torching the month away.

MJO stays unfavorable and we wipe out all the cold on our side of the globe. Then we reload for 2 weeks and get a 1 week window for snow and see the "lots of energy flying around" posts, while we stay dry, and then we warm up until late March.

It's sad that nothing interesting happening except for a brief cooldown is looking likely for the rest of the month.

Maybe if the cooldown keeps trending colder and colder it'll be something notable.
 
This "hobby", or sadly in my case profession, is just getting to the point of not even being fun anymore. A three run Euro trend like seen around 12/23 would typically perk up my attention, but now it also just makes me angry. The odds that the trend continues for a fourth run are near-zero. Now, in fairness, trying to look for trends beyond D5-6 is fairly foolish to begin with, but it's wild that anytime some momentum towards a wintry solution appears to be forming, it immediately reverses course every time, without fail.

You really need a snowstorm. I hope that we all get a 4+ inch snow next month.

It's ok everything will be alright, Just back up and take a deep Breath. It's just weather
