Got a bad feeling about the GFS
Hey now I’ve done been plume checkingBrad P posting SREF - everyone should rest easy now!
There will be someone (me) watching everyone else get snow just 5 miles away, while I am a mixed bag to rain at best.
I think a trend is underway. The next few runs will each be farther north and warmer than the last. The end result will be about like last Sunday and Monday's system. GA, SC, and the Charlotte NC area are out.Let hope for a colder trend at 0z cause I think 18z is a lost cause right now.

How'd that age RC? Lol I kid of courseGot a bad feeling about the GFS
Must be some top notch kush. Not a complaint, but probably doesn't belong on main thread. 9 inches for Etowah county? Did GFS participate in Wake and Bake? Holy cow that will be our best snow in decades.
It’s working let him cookKylo on a rampage. I’ve been laughing my a** off
He said we were all getting 6” and we could borrow his sled!Kylo on a rampage. I’ve been laughing my a** off
I'd just go with whatever it says on the map. That's the general methodology I use when it comes to identifying locations.Does this website acknowledge the Gulf of America or does that cross any lines? Manatees hello @Rain Cold
IDK i think North Georgia, especially higher elevations, might do really well.No matter how much I want to believe this. I know it won't verify.
If the Euro keeps trending drier and is right we may not even get that.I think I’ve given up on snow or any kind of winter precipitation down here just another cold rain which sucks

Be absolutely thrilled with that outcomeGive me 2-3 inches of snow, sleet (concrete mix) with a topping of freezing rain to make it look like a winter wonderland - I’d absolutely be satisfied. Looks like that’s where MBY is heading

Same here, but with my FJ Cruiser. Hasn't snowed here since I bought it. Though I have had it out in the snow in Blowing Rock and Boone.I just want enough to have to put my Jeep Wrangler in 4Low and have fun.
My main gripe with it is the fact that this wave is so flat there won't be any big winners in it. Id be willing to drive to the NC mountains if it were 6-8 plus inches of snow, but it looks like a flat 1-3 in most NC locations evenly distributed in all regions.
After the way FFC handled Helene last year this probably means all snow, no iceThis is from the FFC video put out earlier. Increasing probability of at least 0.25” Of ice accumulation. This could lead to some problems if it is realized. I know a lot of focus is on snow, but we cant overlook this aspect of the system.View attachment 161014
I’m sure your qualifications match @bouncycornSorry, but if you extrapolate that west, you are taking the absolute best area of AL completely out of the snow, which isn’t going to happen. NW AL is guaranteed 2-4” unless this cuts up through AL, which isn’t going to happen either.
