Misc Cold Season Complaining

What do you mean? Do you think we should make it Winter Storm Cora so all the fb fiends and casuals can ask us how much snow in their exact backyard and time?
Winter Storm Trouble Incoming. Winter Weather Whammy. Major Winter Storm. Significant Southern Snow.

I’m off this weekend and could do a live bojangles special moderation with moving and deleting comments just dm me. @SD

Sorry CAE, you get flurries, sleet, and rain.

Please try again next decade.

I am considering retiring from this hobby. It's dumb AF.

This would be absolutely painful in middle Georgia rain snow line 10 miles north of me on the NAM. Need it to trend a little colder to the south

The track is too far north for us. I don't see it shifting 200 miles south with the Wintry footprint the models are locking in on.

Let's move to North Dakota.

God if you're listening 🙏🏼🙏🏼❄️

Never would I think that it was possible to get a storm where most of the board wins and I don’t get blanked at the same time here in VA. Looking at a 3-6 here Roanoke with good ratios! Really hoping trends hold down there!

oh i'm concerned, haha. But I think it's arriving at those b/c of the differences at 500mb with respect to the model consensus(it pumps the ridge way up higher out ahead of the storm). Just have to hope it's not on to something with the overall height fields.

Oh I know you know better than most

There's no wake or mecklenburg gradient so how can it be real
That has scared me for so many of our past winter storms. I tend to do well, but I'm always on that stupid line hearing people say they switched from one ptype to another..... Which I am on the line again on Allen's map. I want that line at least as south as from Fayetteville to Goldsboro. And while I'm wishing, temps in the low/mid 20s.

It's a little cold of a model, but I do think overall, it's not too shabby. Maybe it paints too large of a ZR zone sometimes.. but what doesn't.

I was warning folk last night about this and I was basically called a Debbie Downer. I’ve lived in the South my entire life. This is what happens more often than not. I pray this is only a hiccup, however we need to prepare for any possible outcome.

Me no like the trends, but eh what would I know 💭

I feel like all of the critical analysis is just completely getting drowned out by snow maps and wishcasting.

We know there will be some surprises, it's impossible to model phasing energy well... But man, I really don't like the look of the temps, in the midlevels, for a lot of places that think they'll stay predominantly snow.
