I'm so excited to read half a page of model pbp that's "[GFS/Euro/EuroAI/UKMET/CMC/whatever] looks bad this run" but also for the exact same time frame for the exact same model "[Model] off to a good start"

Yall these models keep radically shifting back and forth from phased/amped to suppressed and weak/no storm... meanwhile the Euro AI has been more/less showing the same goldilocks in-between evolution for a few days now...I'm riding with the AI until it folds,(I dont think it will).

Quite the accomplishment to be right about no snow in a part of the country that doesn’t average very much of it. I look forward to sending you a picture of the snowfall I receive in Birmingham, Alabama. 🤡

It's January 5th dude.

Anyway, we will all be saved by the "that is an improvement" 18z suites and the the "we are back" 0z suites only to be humbled by tomorrow's 06z suites. Wash, rinse, repeat.
 
The Greenville-Spart., Charlotte, Raleigh, Roanoke Rapids area is on the line now but we cannot afford anymore northwest trends. Have a long ways to go yet.
 
I feel like trends have been positive for the most part, we no longer have over amped solutions. I feel comfy in saying that CLT is more likely than not likely gonna see some sort of winter weather(knock on wood).
 
The 74 corridor in NC and all of SC and GA are going to be left out of this today and next weekend too it seems.
 
Gonna be some backpedaling by a few local Mets in the next few days. I would have waited until at least Tues maybe even Wed before saying anything. This has all the makings of a very cold rain.

It has those markings only if you live in Anderson and Jonesville. Y'all enjoy your Cold Rain while areas North of 85 enjoys 2-3" of snow 🤣🤣
