We picked up 10+inch per hour, totaling 3.24 inches of rain! Was at my parents those evening and it absolutely poured in eastern Harnett County. Saw some cool fast moving clouds in Aberdeen heading south towards Rockingham. Pretty steady rain from the race track/drag strip towards downtown Rockingham.
It skipped over me in Glen Alpine but they have gotten nasty just down the road in Morganton. Continuous thunder.Very intense thunderstorm here in Lenoir, the winds were insane. Luckily power still on but won’t be surprised if we see some outages.
.66 here unless something happens tomorrow. Brutal monthLooks like August is going to end with a massive 1.31, that'll be 9 of the last 12 months with less than 2 inches of rain.
I'm only at 22", that's why we have a few spots of extreme drought still. Truly unbelievableI still haven't hit 20" of rain year to date. PWS uptime is 100% so nothing missed.
Also the GFS is on crack.
