Temp dropped from mid 50s to upper 30s in a few hours. Had a period of sleet/grauple a few min ago. Think I will put a drop of Makers Mark in the glass and see what else happens this evening.

I couldn't hang long enough for the change over last night. It was still sleeting when I went to bed but noticed the 3 AM observation was 35/33 and light snow. I did find this small accumulation this AM thoughmodernweenie??

Yep had another thunderstorm around 5am. Now its 47 cloudy and windy. This sucks in April
55 degrees and has been raining here in Charleston. Temp forecast fail.
3.5” snow totals not far from here in Bath County VA. I had cold rain.

Got down to 27 degrees last night. Got snow in April yesterday for the 2nd time in three years after only seeing it happen once in the previous 11 years.

It dropped from 80º to 59º at Noon in Hogtown and hasn't topped 61º since ... amazing for mid-April ... the walk tomorrow AM will be pleasant!

What's the latest freeze that you can remember ?

Off the top of my head 4/22 and it was in the 20s. We've had four or so light frosts in May since I moved to Emerson. We are sitting at 31 now with a moderate amount of frost on everything. Most of my blueberries are set and some of my apples so I'm hoping this will spare them. I've held off on planting my maters until after this.
36.0 on one thermometer and 34.8 on the other. Probably avoided major damage to plants and the grass but Im expecting to see more damage today. This sucks, I hope everyone that was cheering on the cold enjoys it.
RDU made it down to 34 this morning. Nearly a freeze. Frosty earlier, though.
