Pattern Anaphylactic August

96*F is looking to be the high today.

The tropical humidity is back, with dewpoints in the low 70s.
 
Well, this week looks plain hot, humid, and miserable. Might get a chance of storms later on in the week, and hopefully a pattern change to less hot and humid weather.
 
Probably decent rain chances today, plenty of instability. Looks like things are going to get going in the northern sandhills and western coastal plan very soon

Aside from 1.5 hours of sun after sunrise, we've been socked under a mid-level cloud deck all day.

The temp has been stuck at 85*F for a while. It's looking like the forecast high of 95*F is going to bust.

Indeed, 84.1F so far here.
 
Leaving the office and looks like a storm is incoming from south of Raleigh. Didn't expect that today.
