Ridiculous?? You have a rude awakening. All these things you just mentioned that won’t happen will actually indeed happen. You and me have no other choice but to face God face to face and be judged for our earthly doings. There is a heaven and hell, and there is a rapture whether you’re ready or not. Plus the rapture won’t happen with God as you mentioned but with Jesus.
Neither one of us can prove this in the present. The only people that can even give us a glimpse are those who have had NDE (I have) and people who have proven they existed in a past life. The eastern religions (if you can even call them that) had it correct and so did the christian mystics who believed in reincarnation before the church put a stop to it and slaughtered them. There is no hell if reincarnation is real and it is. There is no rapture or no judgement day or day of reckoning like you want there to be. It's sad that you even want this to exist as you see it
Thankfully, we do have much proof. There is not a single ancient historical event more documented than the life, the crucifixion, and the resurrection of Jesus the messiah. It is so believable it split time in two for most of the world, AD and BC.

I did, for 45 years. I have had this conversation too and it got nowhere so I'm not repeating it again. I watched too many of my brothers and sisters blow their brains out after we got home from the war because people told them to pray and trust the bible. They don't have time to wait for prayers to be answered when they are suffering the worst horrors imaginable so I decided to save my own life by escaping from this trap and finding the real truth. Now that I am retired I devote what time I have left to helping Vets get help through plant medicines and getting back to the truth our ancestors held from the past before religous dogma started this entire cycle of war and killing. Unfortunately most don't understand this reasoning
Sorry lick, that's not true. There is no protestant way or catholic way that is right . The only Way is according to the Word of God. What denominations divide themselves over is usually to their own peril. God's word says that we will give an account even for "every idle word we speak". The good news is God offers us forgiveness for every shortcoming, be it doing evil or not doing good, if we ask Him and repent. Grace and Faith are joined together in the New Covenant of God. Grace being God's divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in the life, and Faith being the trust we have in God's word (Jesus). It is manifest in a changed course of life, we call it" born again". Before, it was all about us and what we could gain. We now Know God and want to please Him. Unfortunately, we still have to fight our own flesh, our own evil desires so we aren't perfect here, but we look forward to a new body, a glorified body like Jesus, that God will give us at the resurrection.

I'm truly sorry for what you had to see and live through. I can't imagine! But, I know God has a better way for you than those plants He made. I knows He loves you and cares for you. I know if you will truly seek Him with all your heart, you will find rest for your soul. Thousands of men and women who have been through what you have, have found rest for their soul. It's more real than any temporary fix you might get. Just try praying to God, reading His Word, and confessing His truth as you do. Even,( if you are under the influence) Don't give up, you have too much at stake.
I already found god friend! I found him a long time ago I just stopped believing he sits on a throne controlling my life for good or bad for the purpose of judging me. You can only watch so many people you care about take their life waiting for something they also believed in to never materialize. It's easy to say the things you say when it isn't happening to you. That makes believing really easy. Luckily I didn't give up I sought and found the truth. I have karma to work off in my next life for taking life I had no right to take but I am fine with it because my soul has begun the healing process. 22 vets take their life every single day and most of them are Christians or have called themselves that at one time or another. Sorry but I call that a colossal failure that religion has no good answer for unless you enjoy war and killing your enemies. I have had enough of that in this lifetime

First thing I noticed is that you didn't answer all of them only 2 of them. The reason is because it's all there in black and white, it's cruel and you CAN NOT defend it PERIOD. The character you think is your god in this book is nothing but a murderous dictator. I have plenty more and they are all plain and simple. They looked down on women, slaves and anybody else who didn't comply and you worship this stuff? I think it's time you folks upgraded god's word to that of a more civilized society

I agree to a point, god works in ways we might not comprehend. There is no reason both evolution and god can be real. Who’s to say evolution is not gods tool? This is a big reason I prefer Islam, much more open to accepting scientific fact

I used to feel that way too but I always felt there was more to the story I just never explored out of fear. When I did the psychedelic treatment those high doses remove the blockages within your neural pathways where trauma resides. Within that process it also rewires your brain removing all the clogs you have built up over time. You tend to become more open minded to that spiritual exploration when you go through this process which explains why most people who go through this treatment leave religion behind. You get to experience what it's like to die without severing the chord that binds your soul to the body at death. When the universe calls to you, you listen and I did. I wish I could explain it better but everyone here is on there own path, some as a group and some a personal path. I wish you folks could understand why this isn't a your way or the highway situation but it undermines your entire way of thinking to do so which is a shame (nothing personal towards you ;-)

He is not saying that salvation is by works, but he is saying that it is the most important decision a human being will ever make.
I most certainly did! The Day I decided that what I had been taught to believe was going to be put to the test. That's the difference here. You guys are sticking with the only thing you have ever known. You don't question it one bit you just believe and obey out of fear. Yes it is most certainly out of fear and I say this because you do indeed "fear the lord". If you took a step back and looked at outside sources you will see where you are just a number in a sea of billions who have been taught the exact same lie. Now you will go on to teach your children this lie and they will teach their generation the lie just as it has been for 2000 years. You guys need to pay attention because you are going to have your world rocked in the next 2-3 years. As technology increases at a massive rate, so does knowledge and with that, logic becomes part of the equation.
