...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Vance, northwestern
Warren and northeastern Granville Counties through 415 PM EDT...

At 336 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Henderson, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Henderson, Oxford, Norlina, Kittrell, Stovall, Middleburg, Gillburg,
Steele Creek Marina & Campground, Kerr Lake and South Henderson.
 
What happened to the shields brick ? Wake county didn’t move south and east did it ?


Cuz it’s about to storm out here at state !

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN VANCE...SOUTHEASTERN GRANVILLE...NORTHERN WAKE...
SOUTHEASTERN DURHAM AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

At 357 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Raleigh, moving
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Cary, Henderson, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Franklinton,
Kittrell, RDU International, Morrisville and Rolesville.

I was under an enhanced risk and got nothing but rain and lightning. Not even a severe thunderstorm warning. Basically a garden variety afternoon thunderstorm during the summer. I'm not complaining, but SPC needs to be careful about throwing out "enhanced" risks if they are not going to materialize.

Poor Bermuda can’t catch a break! Freezes , now hail damage? ?
