I'm afraid that this one could be a violent one. Hrrr. Depicted a long track supercell bear this area so this maybe one. Let's hope this thing doesn't crank up the intensity anymore

The direction it's headed though is one of the most populated areas of alabama. Let's hope it dies down.

This is turning out to be really really bad. High risk tornadoes into more densely populated areas of the state.

Even in the low 60s here and having a severe thunderstorm makes me think we're in for a rougher time later than expected.

Break in the clouds here right off of Roebuck. The sun is trying to peek through and the birds are chirping.
Any bit of sun with that Southerly flow is going to help bump temps up pretty quickly once any rain passes

It went from rain to nothing in matter of seconds. About 10 minutes later, we have clearing.

There it goes...
Atlanta currently is in the Slight risk area per NWS but just pay attention outside if your in the upper 60's and 70's and it feels soupy outside you know they environment is set for severe weather. There is no wedge in place like last week so no direct assistance to keeping the air-mass cooler outside of some clouds and rain but even without sun you got the southern winds pushing warming air up.
