Nope. Going to be adding a additional bedroom to the beach house and turn it into our house. Beach life baby. Figured why wait until I’m old and can’t enjoy it. Plus Georgia is going in the wrong direction so it makes it easier to go.

The market is crazy right now and our size house is selling for about 20-40k over value so we are going to see if someone bites. Hopefully they do because I want to be down there by end of the summer. If not we will just wait it out and see how it goes.

It’s going to take me about 4 weeks to get the room ready, already applied for the permit with Bay County. Trying to get this house ready to go on the market in about 2-3 weeks. So if we get a good offer it could be as soon as late June/ early July. If we don’t get a offer we like we will just wait.

I’d have chose somewhere quieter personally like Pensacola or gulf shores Alabama . PCB is too dirty and rowdy for my tastes . Your kids will definitely have interesting stories to tell growing up in PCB and spending time with the rowdy college kids on the beach lol. Is your house on the beach directly ?

I wish it was but no it’s just off 392. 1 min walk to the beach. We are located west of Pier Park so it’s not as bad as the east side.

The wife’s family lives in Rose and my parents are in Gulf Highlands so it’s pretty much in the middle.

The house market is crazy right now where I work. Just on my house, when we got it appraised for our refinance it valued for almost 60k more than 5 years ago.

If you want to talk crazy there's a neighbor who moved in mid-september and sold 6 months later for 47k more than the last sale with 0 changes to the house. It also is one of the smallest homes by square footage and the highest sold in the subdivision in the last 3 years. Every house that goes for sale regardless of price now is pending within a week or 2.

That’s crazy. Definitely worth selling if you can. Easy money right now. My neighbor a few houses down sold his in 2 days 40k over asking. They pocket almost 100k and only lives in the house 4 years.

Definitely true. That’s something I’m looking forward too. Watch Atlanta get like 30in of snow ⛄️ once I’m gone. It’s only a 5hr drive so I might have to chase 1-2 times.

Inflation . People think they are getting rich right now , just wait till when we cross the top of that hill and people realize it’s all worth nothing . Sell and buy when everything is cheaper !

My house is currently valued on zillow 97k over my purchase price and 147k over what I have left on my mortgage, it's hard not to pull the trigger. The market is ridiculous like you said sell if you want to or can

Similar story here actually , Zillow has it 103k higher than what it was bought for . Wtf . That’s just -------- af . You pull the trigger now but then where do you live ? It’s not like you will find anything cheaper , at least till this bubble bursts .

Yep that's my whole thing there's no where that isn't overvalued right now and developers are trying to put so many up they are poor quality. I went over toward the Jordan lake area yesterday to just to see lol $$$$$$$$$$

Same thing happened to me but I didn't lose half of it. I just lost 1\4th. I haven't been to the dentist yet I don't know if there's any way to fix it...
