I remember massive plow piles persisting for like a month after the January 2000 storm at the Greensboro Coliseum back in the day. It was wild considering we torched most of February that year, too.

Somehow as the storm draws closer I am less and less confident what’s going to happen.

I remember massive plow piles persisting for like a month after the January 2000 storm at the Greensboro Coliseum back in the day. It was wild considering we torched most of February that year, too.

I remember seeing similiar snow piles at Oak Hollow Mall about 3 or 4 weeks after the 96 blizzard.

I should probably clarify though. Jan 2000 was bigger than 96 for the triad and east. While 96 was bigger everywhere n and w of the triad..

Come to think of it, why doesn’t 96 get mentioned more often? I guess because both 93 and 2000 overshadow it? I dunno..

Yeah, I lived down in Trinity south of Thomasville for that one and I think it was mostly sleet (but a ton of it). I was very young then, but I remember my dad and I made an igloo, haha.
