Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

It's been consistent for about a day or so it seems with a idea of decent severe weather risk somewhere in the southeast in about a 7 day timespan. Seems like a low instability high shear event as of now, not a lot of moisture to tap in to.
It’s definitely going to verify I feel more confident in severe weather than winter weather whenever the models show it especially in the south but hope I’m wrong though

All together it's not too impressive when looking at everything altogether with thermos. shear is really good. Thermodynamics are very weak. Updrafts will be shredded. A typical spin up winter scenario. BUT! Thermodynamics are almost always higher than global model outputs and typically trend higher the closer to the event, still a long long ways off though.

Interesting hmmmmm. RDU is like a billion times closer to Columbia’s snow climo than it is to dc philly Baltimore nyc and Boston . Who on earth would have guessed .

Bruh and I'm tired of these no show yogurt drop fizzie clouds west of wilkesboro.
Hey man I’m rooting for y’all. Seems Alabama and Georgia get screwed the most . It’s always either a cold Raleigh pattern like now where y’all are just too far west or it’s a cold Texas pattern where your just too Far East. 2014 seems to have been the last good year for y’all.
