The fake grass industry is big there. Also fun to water the fake grass so you don’t burn your toes.Ill see what? Check this out. 90% of our winter veggies are grown out there. The US declared a water shortage for the first time ever there meaning FORCED reductions which are going to impact FARMERS first. Not the phoenix green lawn folks. We are a society and proper use of our resources is important to ensure continued access to them. No one has a green lawn when the water runs out.
Can the Colorado River keep on running?
The Colorado River is being sucked dry by cities and farms and is also suffering the effects of climate change. What will it take to save the “lifeline of the West”?www.nationalgeographic.com
Not to get into politics, but when tadpoles are being protected in spite of California farmers needing the water in the Central valley, That's all I need to know. It's all politics, there's enough water out there.Ill see what? Check this out. 90% of our winter veggies are grown out there. I dont mean to regulate water access but when your in the middle of a massive drought, your power plant is about to fail, and a large source of our nations food is about be slammed yeah something kind of has to be done to avoid disaster. The fake grass industry is big there. It doesn't take a lot of water to keep a green somewhat healthy lawn. I would wager that most of the home owners or whoever is watering in that region is overwatering. It's a huge issue in this countryOr if you really like green lawns live out east where the rain fall is ample.
