Virginia Beach gonna get more snow than me this year?. I’m sitting at 11 inches this year but they are going to surpass me.

2018 repeat? I’m pretty sure the beach beat out almost every other city in VA after back to back storms that January

Nice. I started off as a met major at State before realizing that higher level math and physics wasn’t my strength and transferring into Econ. I did win the forecasting contest in Met 101, though, haha (fall 2010). Of course, when I did a master’s in Econ, some of that higher level math returned. ?

A couple of my ex-classmates are now broadcasts meteorologists up in Roanoke.

Yeah, I did. Only a few months before I moved here. . Missed a decent storm in 2017, too, IIRC. Then I return to NC and I bring the Florida heat back with me.

Maybe things are changing. We went through some tough years in the 90s. Global pattern seems to always switch for the better (..eventually).

Raleigh would have gotten a foot probably over the next 18 hours or so. Too bad it stopped at 84.
