I honestly think that surface temperatures are so cold for much of NC that snow is likely to stick on contact if we can get any. That will make the situation all that much worse if we get a changeover to freezing rain.

Agreed. This is a similar situation to February 2014 that produced that oh so memorable photo on Glenwood. Of course, this time around it’ll be a Sunday on a holiday weekend, so we likely won’t see this. ?
