Maybe he's busy showing it to all of the NWS offices, expect major changes in the afternoon packages. His model is needed at this crucial time

I’m at work, I got y’all when I get home! ?Have any wicker furniture pics to share at this time?
Swing by and pick up Shetley, go the 26 route!Have any wicker furniture pics to share at this time?
PainI don’t know what to expect this weekend. The models are all over the map. Literally and figuratively.
I need the streets white as well or I’ll cry.Y’all cry, I’ll enjoy white ground coverage of 1 inch of snow and 2-3 inches of sleet, wintry precip in the south is a W in its own way. as long as the ground turns white, it’s a W, and to add on to that ZR on trees, gonna look like a winter wonderland and it’s gonna stick around for a long time since sleet is hard to melt
You're right, Nick told us we should be happyY’all cry, I’ll enjoy white ground coverage of 1 inch of snow and 2-3 inches of sleet, wintry precip in the south is a W in its own way. as long as the ground turns white, it’s a W, and to add on to that ZR on trees, gonna look like a winter wonderland and it’s gonna stick around for a long time since sleet is hard to melt
I'm going to need more boozeUnless the pattern just goes into the trash I'd guess we have 2 maybe 3 more legit threats on the horizon
Yeah.. no need to rub salt in the wound. To whoever lives there, move. That has got to suck!

Sorry, you seriously have my sympathiesYeah.. no need to rub salt in the wound.
No wonder Mack has been picking on the folks that are gonna fail ! He’s gonna fail hisself ! Like my power on sunday !Speaking of Mack's chair, that thing sweatin bullets

The blizzard of 2016/jonas is a good match to how sleety this storm will be, picked up 2 inches of sleet with that storm and it took a week to melt, I think this one goes higher, I got 2.5 of sleet hereI am so jacked up for this, sleet fest, I can’t think straight. Should see more sleet in this storm than I’ve seen in the last decade combined, and probably the most I’ve ever seen in one single storm.
Anything fun to do with sleet? Can I make sleet cream, or a sleet man? Can I do sleet angels and then sled the sleet? Hoping so.
? It's had it's share; I'm worried about my chair; it needs some love too!Speaking of Mack's chair, that thing sweatin bullets

Ok, Myfrotho, how believable is the RAP? I always thought that it downplayed winter weather. It seems to be rather aggressive this time.this is my grandpas CAD right here, coming back to say hi View attachment 105476
No need. Winter is over.I think when all of this is done we really need to sit down and have a team meeting around model biases, misconceptions about la nina, ensemble mean snow maps, and canceling winter before 2/1. Sound good?
That's right I forgot my apologiesNo need. Winter is over.
Don't let it happen againThat's right I forgot my apologies
Just want to say I’m a fan of this. When we have an OBS thread and a model thread going at the same time, it gets confusing and the conversations inevitably crossover so that you have OBS in the main thread and model discussion in the OBS thread. Then you have to check two threads to see what you’re looking for. Much prefer just one thread for everything, personally! It was mentioned earlier about an obs thread but as for now as we've done with recent events, all post specific to this system, including observations, will stay in this thread. It keeps it simple, also easier to moderate..... with that in mind, this place will be extremely busy so all one liner, off topic, this model sucks, how much for me, snow chasing, does Mack's chair still have snow comments will be deleted fairly quickly. Help us help you, use the whamby/banter thread and use this for storm specific info only, please and thank you
Crap I was going to add some stuff about MSLP, mid level lows, and what is a trend and what is typical noise from run to runDon't let it happen again

That's the spirit. A good 3'' of concrete last much longer than pure snow. Not as much fun, but keeps the ground white longer.I am so jacked up for this, sleet fest, I can’t think straight. Normally it’s warm in cad setups lol, oofOk, Myfrotho, how believable is the RAP? I always thought that it downplayed winter weather. It seems to be rather aggressive this time.
BrahSaturday 1/22 and then Monday 1/24-Tuesday 1/25… now where have I heard that before?? Exact same days and dates as January 2000
if only we could track storms like this that showed 45 and rain 7 days out and gradually came around to this setup, then i think we would all be pumped. just pain when you see modeled snow outputs that get you excited and then we trend to an icy mess.Y’all cry, I’ll enjoy white ground coverage of 1 inch of snow and 2-3 inches of sleet, wintry precip in the south is a W in its own way. as long as the ground turns white, it’s a W, and to add on to that ZR on trees, gonna look like a winter wonderland and it’s gonna stick around for a long time since sleet is hard to melt
Makes sense to me. I'm all in.Brah
