It looks like everyone in Miami is just releasing one giant fart in our direction. It’s a tropical Congo line from Miami to hatteras!
Yeah, we could be looking at highs in the 90s for this event at this rate.Kinda getting that 93 vibe…..

IF the GFS was to happen, this would be a ridiculous gradient. I have lived in the Carolinas all my life, but i have never seen anything like that. It's just hard to buy...
Nethertheless, the ole GFS says who cares what you think, i am trucking due North. Screw the haters.
Models not handling the transfer well. Need a minor shift 200 miles offshore and you should be good for a r/s mix as the LP moves poleward. Post pics.It looks like everyone in Miami is just releasing one giant fart in our direction. It’s a tropical Congo line from Miami to hatteras!
At least when sleet piles up it looks whiteGeez, that’s a mostly IP storm around Charlotte-gso, even tho models show lots of ZRView attachment 104409View attachment 104411View attachment 104412
Meanwhile it's 32 IMBY. Wild. The gradient on the GFS does seem ridiculous. RDU in the mid-50s while GSO is 30 and icing is something I don’t think I’ve ever seen before, and doesn’t seem realistic to me.
Wonder if gulf stream, current ocean temps are playing a big role in models depicting that. The gradient on the GFS does seem ridiculous. RDU in the mid-50s while GSO is 30 and icing is something I don’t think I’ve ever seen before, and doesn’t seem realistic to me.
I’ll post pics on the beach! Gon be a warm one , may have to turn the AC on. Best underwear to beat swampass ?Models not handling the transfer well. Need a minor shift 200 miles offshore and you should be good for a r/s mix as the LP moves poleward. Post pics.
We will finally get a clear picture of the NAM FGEN band with I believe the 00z run tonight .. the differences on models are already intriguing View attachment 104419View attachment 104420
I tried not to get sucked back in lastnight briefly but @SD @Rain Cold aren't very good friends and didn't stop me. In fact now in wondering if I get dry slotted and any chance of severe weather lol.I surrender
Lol it’s cool I’m sitting up here at my ranch on the back of my 2 by 4 pickup truck drinking beer and soaking the lost all in but I’m a roll tide fan for life so it’s all good lolLife must be tough as an Alabama fan. You’re not getting any sympathy from the rest of us, LMAO. ?
Yeah we haven’t even gotten to dive into meso models yet .. that is when we find out the truth ?wouldn’t be surprised if things changed a lot again (not necessarily good)
the truth is probably some front end slop followed by rain for Raleigh btwYeah we haven’t even gotten to dive into meso models yet .. that is when we find out the truth ?
Are you not in school in Oklahoma anymore or do I have you confused with someone else ?I am just now seeing that the Nam has decided to NAM Oklahoma. LolView attachment 104429View attachment 104430
I don’t go back until next week. Are you not in school in Oklahoma anymore or do I have you confused with someone else ?
Front end snow to sleet/freezing rain .. then rain finally yesthe truth is probably some front end slop followed by rain for Raleigh btw
Thats what Im getting. At this point, I just want a cold rain!
Somebody post the Ptype map evolution of that ensemble member low that ends up 100 miles off Hatteras at 973.
45 degrees and moderate rain seems a lock. All snow in Atlanta is but a memory. At this point, I just want a cold rain!
