it's subjective though. You can just ask like @Weenietag did or earn it by posting maps for no reason other than to troll like @Loganelliott99 did

I must say snow is more exciting in the south than up north. When I was up there I never got excited over anything less than 3".

Excellent. When I see a met tag, I feel confident they have the qualifications to earn such status, and are an accredited meteorologist. I like knowing I can feel the same way about the weenie tag.
